Daniel Hansen - Managing Partner
MBA, PE, M.Eng.
Daniel is a licensed Civil Engineer with broad experience and knowledge in real estate development, sustainable infrastructure, and construction management. His professional journey began with a strong technical foundation, having acquired both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. He then progressed to managing the construction of large-scale infrastructure projects, totaling over $100M in aggregate cost, gaining valuable field experience and insights into complex project execution. Following a meaningful sabbatical to build a medical clinic in Peru, Daniel transitioned to the developer side, spearheading land development and infrastructure delivery for some of the largest mixed-use real estate projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Complimenting his engineering and project management skillset, he earned an MBA from the University of Oxford, reinforcing his business acumen. Today, Daniel leverages his diverse expertise to consult on complex development projects, following his passion for delivering solutions in sustainable infrastructure that are both innovative and commercial.
Jonathan Kevles - Infrastructure Lead
MBA, M.A. Urban Planning
Jonathan is an expert in local government, real estate development, renewable energy project development, financing and policy, and district systems. In addition to serving currently as a consultant to Next Infrastructure, he most recently was the Commercial and Regulatory Senior Manager for Lendlease, assisting Google with the development of the District Systems that will support four large mixed used real estate development projects in Silicon Valley. Prior to that role, Jonathan worked on microgrid policy and project development as the owner and founder of Microgrids for Agriculture, and in business and project development for Concentric Power and Ameresco. He has also worked at Renew Financial, the creator of one of the first PACE financing programs, and at AECOM, the Sierra Club, the Clinton Climate Initiative, and at Rocky Mountain Institute. In Los Angeles, Jonathan Served as Deputy Mayor for Economic Development under Los Angeles Mayor Jim Hahn, Regional Administrator for the City’s Redevelopment Agency, and on a variety of city, state assembly, and congressional races in LA County. Jonathan received his undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, and both his MBA and MA in Urban Planning from UCLA. Jonathan was born and raised in Pasadena, and has been living in the Bay Area since 2007.

After founding NEXT, Bronson joined California Forever, where he serves as the Head of Infrastructure and Sustainability for the effort to plan and build one of the most walkable and sustainable cities in the world. Trained and licensed as an engineer, Bronson has leveraged his technical expertise to lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure on a number of mega projects in his roles at Sidewalk Labs, Forest City, and Lennar Urban. He has pushed the envelope to bring new innovations to a number of projects with the aim to radically improve outcomes in sustainability, mobility, and digital connectivity. Working in all stages of development, from entitlement to operation, Bronson has established an integrated project approach to realize a holistic vision while retaining the flexibility to respond to evolving market conditions and technology readiness levels. He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, Bachelor of Engineering from Cornell University, and a certificate in construction management from the University of California, Berkeley Extension.

Steven is an engineer and planner, specializing in integrated systems solutions for campuses, communities, and cities. Steven founded Baumgartner Urban Systems Strategy (BUSS) after 20 years with global design, engineering, architecture and planning firms. Known for being a highly energetic and passionate individual, he pushes his clients and collaborators to think beyond traditional disciplinary and systems boundaries. He has partnered with Next Infrastructure on multiple mega-projects around the world, integrating both strategic investment frameworks and technical district-wide infrastructure and urban system solutions. He lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife and two children.

Charlie is a real estate technology and digital innovation leader with over 20 years of experience driving digital transformation through design, product development, and strategic infrastructure planning. He has been a trusted advisor to executives at some of the world's most innovative destinations, including Hudson Yards, The Grove, Los Angeles International Airport, The Obama Presidential Center, and ICD Brookfield Place Dubai. As VP of Innovation & Digital Experience at Brookfield Properties, Charlie led strategic innovation and digital experience advisory across Brookfield’s $250B portfolio of real estate assets and operating companies, with a focus on property technology, consumer experience, and sustainability solutions. Prior to that Charlie held leadership roles at Intersection, Alphabet’s first acquisition in the smart city space by Sidewalk Labs, and Control Group, the digital innovation company best known for developing LinkNYC.
Ken Morrison - Commercial Delivery

Licensed Professional Engineer with over 35 years of experience advancing community scale sustainable water, wastewater, and energy infrastructure through a variety of delivery models including DBOO, concession and utility models. Utilizing multi-team and stakeholder engagement strategies, he has experience building customer facing large scale infrastructure solutions in the energy, water and wastewater sectors and oversaw asset portfolios exceeding $3 billion and associated capital budgets more than $100 million. He has a demonstrated track record of leadership in developing results driven teams, commercial structures, sustainable energy, utility infrastructure, business process optimization including ESG and KPIs, asset management, and extensive expertise and experience in the development, design, engineering, construction, operations, and management of large-scale community infrastructure-related assets.
